Secretarial Assistant

We have a great opportunity for a Secretarial Assistant to work with a lovely company based in Godalming, as Secretarial Assistant you will join a friendly and supportive team, working alongside the main Secretary.  The hours are flexible and there is free parking.

Responsibilities:

  • General secretarial duties including typing, audio typing, answering the phone, dealing with post and filing etc.
  • Producing monthly invoices, preparation of statements and debt chasing.
  • Dealing with and handling all emails that come into the central email address.
  • Keeping track of the whereabouts of all members of staff, co-ordinating electronic diaries etc.
  • Monitoring stationery levels and placing orders for new stock.
  • Purchase of office consumables (tea/coffee/cleaning products).
  • Archiving files

Requirements:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, quality, and thoroughness.
  • Proactive and able to work independently with good judgment.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Ability to interact with clients and employees alike.
  • Ability to work within a team structure
